Pamela K. (Butkus) Falge's Obituary
Pamela Kay (Butkus) Falge, 53, of Marcellus, NY passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home surrounded by her husband and two children on November 6, 2024. Pam was born on October 21, 1971 to Kay and Jim Butkus in Palmyra, NY. Pam graduated from Hartwick College with a Bachelor’s degree in French. In May of 1998, Pam married the love of her life, Daniel Falge and they went on to have two children, Emily and Mason. She then found her true passion in teaching when she joined the staff at Marcellus Central Schools as a substitute teacher.
Pam is survived by her husband of 26 years, Daniel Falge along with her two beloved children, Emily and Mason Falge and her tv watching buddy, Pepper; her parents, Jim and Kay Butkus; her brother, John Butkus; her mother and father-in- law, John and Maureen Falge, and her sisters and brothers-in-law; Michael (Le) Tong, Shannon (Brian) Falge-Wolken, Katy (Mike) Macholl, and Leanne (Pete) Kostraba.
Pam enjoyed music, languages, games, trivia, traveling, and was a devoted fan of her children’s academic and athletic endeavors. Pam so deeply loved her family, especially her nieces and nephews, Eva, Jack, Remus, Ziggy and the newest arrival, Huxley.
Pam was a gentle spirit with a kind heart. She was selfless and uplifting, always putting others first. Her unwavering positivity and witty sense of humor were contagious. They were continuously the source of her strength and light even in the most difficult times of her journey. She was dearly loved by her family and friends.
Pam’s family truly appreciates the love and support received from the Marcellus community, especially the Marcellus Central School District, a place she truly felt at home.
Calling hours will be held at a later date on Friday, December 13, 2024, from 4:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M. at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME 3401 Vickery Rd. (Corner of Buckley Rd.) Syracuse, NY 13212. A Funeral Mass will take place in St. Francis Xavier Church, 1 West Main Street, Marcellus, NY on Saturday, December 14, 2024, at 11:00 A.M. Private burial will take place in St. Francis of Xavier Cemetery.
