Pamela P. Quinn's Obituary
Pamela P. Quinn, 70, of Liverpool, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 14, 2024, at Upstate University Hospital. Born in Syracuse to James and Carol (Licourt) Partigianoni, Pamela grew up in Cortland, NY, and moved to Binghamton in 1978.
Pamela dedicated her career to dental hygiene education, significantly contributing to programs at Broome Community College (BCC), Onondaga Community College (OCC), SUNY Canton, and Mohawk Valley Community College (MVCC). Her influence on her students and the field of dental hygiene was profound.
In 2018, Pamela relocated to Syracuse and became an active member of Pope John XXIII Church in Liverpool. She was deeply involved in community service, volunteering at the Francis House and participating in various mission trips.
Pamela was predeceased by her husband, J. William Quinn, in 2017, and her father, James Partigianoni.
She is survived by her mother, Carol Partigianoni; children, Jennifer (Joseph) DeMarco, Ashley (Gennaro) D’Agostino, and Michael (Danielle) Quinn; her grandchildren, Joey, Ralph, Willow, Lucy, Vincenzo, Annabelle, and Dante; her sisters, Kathy (Steve) Oliver, Jamie (Jim) Brown, Colleen Partigianoni, and Kelly (Tim) McGraw; as well as several brothers and sisters in law, nieces, nephews, friends; and her canine companion, Hunter.
Pamela’s greatest joy came from her family. She was known for her incredible hospitality and love of baking, seeking every opportunity to bless others. Her zest for life extended to her passion for travel, and she looked forward to exploring as she settled into retirement.
Visitation will take place on Saturday, September 21, 2024, from 8:30 to 10:00 A.M. at Pope John XXIII Church, 8290 Soule Rd., Liverpool, followed by a funeral mass celebrating Pamela’s life at 10:30 A.M.
