Bro. Bob was truly a man of conviction. He demonstrated the kindness of God to many. My condolences to his family. Words cannot contain the absence you must feel. I am praying the peace that surpasses our understanding brings you comfort as he enters into his well-earned rest.

Pastor Mazur was (is) a man of the Word. He testified that he was initially intimidated to share from the Bible because he was unschooled in the traditional sense. Yet the same Holy Spirit that inspired the writing of Scripture also inspires the reading of it. In this manner, through dependence on the Spirit, Bro. Bob became a skilled expounder of divine truth. I learned to study the Bible by hearing him preach -- the way he dug into the meaning of words, considered the historical context, drew ideas together from related passages, did studies of Biblical characters and events, found inspiration and application for current situations. He truly made the Word come alive for me. I still approach my own study of Scripture after the manner first modeled to me by Bro. Bob, beginning in 1980. For this and many other things, I am eternally grateful for the opportunity to be called to the church he pastored for so many years.

I'm so grateful that Pastor Bob answered the call of God.I recieved The Lord as my Savior in 1981.A man by the name of Rocky shared the gospel with me on the streets of downtown Syracuse. Rocky took me to Living word Church,I loved watching Pastor Bob playing his green tambourine and worshipping the Lord with such joy. Another wonderful time was when a large group from church went to Israel,on the last day Pastor Bob came on the bus with tears in his eyes he asked "Are you happy that you came now?" We all said yes!!
So Thankful for Pastor Bob Mazur. He was a faithful Servant of Our Savior,Our Lord,Our King, Jesus Christ.
We will see him again. Amen.
I thank the Lord for the night He brought me to Living Word Church in my own home town of Phoenix, NY. The power of the Holy Spirit was palatable as He moved hearts and changed lives, including mine. Bro. Bob was an uncompromising, truth telling preacher with total a abandonment in his love for Jesus. I will NEVER forget my first pastor as a Christian. We will meet again someday, Bro. Bob.

My dear Fannie and family,
As I write this, many of my Brothers and Sisters are there with you to convey their sorrow for the passing of Bro. Bob.
I am not there physically, but my heart is there with you.
I loved Bro. Bob as I did my own father. He was there for me through thick and thin, and the Lord used him to "take me out of the miry clay".
I will always miss him, but looking forward to when he will "meet me at the Eastern gate" like he always promised us...
