Patricia A. Baichi's Obituary
Patricia A. (Maley) Baichi, 92, of Liverpool, passed away Thursday at Iroquois Nursing Home. She was born in Syracuse and was the co-owner and Secretary Treasurer of Iroquois Tire and Brake on Milton Avenue in Solvay where she worked diligently for over 50 years in the family business. Patricia was an avid golfer at Lakeshore Yacht and Country Club and loved playing bridge with her friends there. She was also a world traveler and enjoyed reading. Patricia was the last of a family of 14 children.
She was predeceased by her husband, Peter Baichi in 2005 and her grandson, Peter M. Baichi Jr. in 2008. Patricia is survived by her two sons, Peter M. (MaryLou) Baichi of Syracuse and John F. (MaryAnn) Baichi of Marcellus; six grandchildren, Tracie (Jim) Wonchoba, Matthew (Carrie) Baichi, David J. Baichi, John J. (Jen) Baichi, Derek T. Baichi and Nicole (Karl) McLaughlin; eight great-grandchildren along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Family and friends may call at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse on Monday from 12:00 to 1:00 pm with a funeral service immediately following by Rev. Amedeo Guida. Entombment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery Mausoelum.
