Patricia M. Little's Obituary
Patricia M. Little, 73, of Syracuse, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 20, 2020 at St. Joseph’s Hospital. She was born in Syracuse to the late Phillip and Lucille (Salatte) DeRose and graduated from Henninger High School as the Black Knight’s first-ever female athlete of the year. Patty took great pride that her sons work for the Syracuse City School District as well. She was a life-long homemaker and was selflessly devoted to her family. She loved to read true crime stories and novels by Anne Rule, Sidney Sheldon and Danielle Steele and enjoyed a good movie, especially if it was from the late 50’s or early 60’s. Patty also loved visiting the state fair, playing volleyball, trying out new recipes in the kitchen, and of course, finding a good bargain. Above all, she cherished time spent with family and friends.
Patty is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Don; her twin sons, Don and Tom; her sister, LuAnn DeRose; a niece, Aubrey (John) Picciano; along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Private funeral services were held for immediate family. She was laid to rest in Woodlawn Cemetery Mausoleum.
