Patricia "Pat" Magee's Obituary
Patricia “Pat” Magee, 85, passed away peacefully at home on August 22, 2015 in Long Beach, CA. Born November 3, 1929 to Herbert and Augustus Feeley in Syracuse, NY, Pat graduated from North Syracuse High School in 1948. She married Charles (Chuck) Magee in 1948 and moved to Long Beach, raising daughters Kathleen and Cindy (Bert) McCarty. She was active in her church, teaching at St. Matthew’s School and volunteering at St. Anthony High School. Pat also worked with Sr. Alphonsus at St. Mary’s Hospital.
Pat and Chuck were avid golfers, playing outstanding courses throughout the world. They also enjoyed cruising and the fall colors in the Adirondack Mountains. Pat was known as “Dear” by her grandchildren, Theresa (Mario) Beltran, Michael (Kari) Hill and Stephen Hill. In addition, Pat had 7 great-grandchildren including Ashley, Caleb, Brooklyn, and Abigail Beltran, Madelyn McClary and Chloe and Paige Hill. Pat lived a full and wonderful life surrounded with everlasting love.
