Patricia A. (Restani) Meyers' Obituary
Patricia A. (Restani) Meyers, 83, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, July 2, 2020 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Syracuse, daughter of the late Thomas and Geraldine (Gottwald) Restani. Patricia graduated from North High School and was employed for many years at Borden’s Ice Cream as a purchasing agent before retiring. She enjoyed knitting, sewing and quilting, but her specialty was baking pies. She had long aspired to own a pie shop where she would sell all kinds of her delicious pies.
Besides her parents, she is predeceased by her brother, Raymond; sisters, Beverly, Joyce and Shirley; and son-in-law, John Fritz.
Patricia is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, Robert Meyers; daughters, Susan Fritz, Diane (Paul) Chapman and Tammy Schwarz (Louie Curr); grandchildren, Nicole Kimber, John Fritz, Jr., Jill Fritz, Danielle Hershey, Rachel O’Dell, Cassandra Decker, Nathan Schwarz, Samera Chapman, and Angela DeTore; 9 great-grandchildren; along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 9, 2020 at 9 a.m. at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, and at 10 a.m. in St. Margaret’s Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Entombment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery Mausoleum. Family and friends may call on Wednesday, July 8, 2020 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home, 3401 Vickery Road (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse.
