Patricia (Saia) Panto's Obituary
Patricia (Saia) Panto, 85, of Liverpool, passed away peacefully on Friday at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Spadafora, Sicily to Antonio and Filippa (Fede) Saia. Patricia resided in the Syracuse area for the past 67 years. She retired from Syracuse China after 32 years of dedicated service. She was a longtime communicant of Our Lady of Pompei Church. Patricia was a loving mother and devoted grandmother to her granddaughter Alahna who was the light of her life.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Panto in 1977; her siblings, Santa Squadrito, Frances Saia, Nina Zullo, Leo Saia, Giuseppina Cama, Paul Saia, and Grace Maduri.
Patricia is survived by her daughter, Maryann Panto-Kline (John); her granddaughter, Alahna Kline; her sister, Angela (John) Berardi of Syracuse; brother-in-law, John Maduri of Toronto, along with several nieces and nephews in the U.S. and Canada.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am on Thursday, October 5, 2017 at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, followed by a Funeral Mass in celebration of Patricia’s life at 11:30 am in Our Lady of Pompei/St. Peter Church. Entombment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery Mausoleum. Family and friends may call from 4:00 – 7:00 pm on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at the funeral home, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
