It took me a while to compose myself enough to write this. What can I say other than thank you. Thank you for allowing me to marry your daughter, thank you for welcoming me with open arms into your family, thank you for your investment of time into your granddaughters life, and for the countless hours you devoted to my little family. You were taken from us too soon but I promise you that your legacy will live on in my daughter. She will be the strong, independent, and intelligent woman you wanted to see her grow to be. I love you and miss you.

With great sadness I offer my prayers and sympathies to the family of Patti Sears. Being in the restaurant business, I had the priviledge of knowing Patti for many years. Living at the Imperial, I had the pleasure of seeing her often. She was a 'one of a kind' lady. Her random 'acts' of cheer left at the door, always brought a smile to my face. I am so sorry that we never got that chance to sit and share a glass of wine. ....In the next life.
