Patricia A. (Sears) McCabe's Obituary
Patricia A. (Sears) McCabe, 90, passed away December 5, 2020. She was born in Utica N.Y. to Charles and Ruth Sears on October 31, 1930 and was the oldest of five children. She worked at Koerner Ford as the Coordinator of Interior Design for several years.
Patricia loved going to her Adirondack camp for almost 46 years (Bayside 4th Lake) with family and friends. She resided in Liverpool until she suffered a stroke in 2019. Patricia was a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
She was predeceased by her husband of 68 years, Deacon Donald M. McCabe in 2018; a grandson, Patrick Mace; two sisters, Elizabeth Boyle and Suzanne Sears.
Patricia is survived by four children: Kathleen Maimone, Michael McCabe (Barbara), Sherry Mace and Ann Curcio (Anthony); grandchildren: Scott Maimone (Jessica), Christopher Maimone, Michael McCabe (Trisha), Molly McCabe, Jared Mace, Lauren Naum (Andy), Ashley Naum, and Brianna Curcio; great-grandchildren: Sophia, Sidney and Jameson Maimone, Quinn McCabe, Jewelyana and Penelope; a brother, Charles Sears (Barbara); a sister, Rosemary Sears; three nieces and five nephews.
The McCabe family would like to thank the staff of St. Camillus and Crouse Hospital for their help with our mother’s final days. God Bless you all for the work you do!!
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 10, 2020 from 9 – 9:45 am at Sacred Heart Church of Cicero, 8229 Brewerton Rd., Cicero, NY, followed by a Funeral Mass in celebration of Patricia’s life at 10:00 am.
