Patricia A. (Pavia) Taranto's Obituary
Patricia A. (Pavia) Taranto, 71, of Syracuse, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loved ones on the morning of Friday, August 21, 2015. She was a graduate of St. Anthony of Padua High School and (CCBI) Central City Business Institute. A lifelong resident of Syracuse, she had been employed by Sears and Roebuck, Bristol Labs, Mineo Wholesale Produce and Pinnacle Data Corp.
Patricia is survived by her three sons, Marcus (Jennifer), Jason and Matthew (Kyle); four grandchildren, Zachary, Kara, Alexis and Michael; three brothers, Edward L. Pavia of Rochester, NY, Leonard P. Pavia of Saratoga Springs, UT and Russell J. Pavia of Newton, MA.
Patricia leaves us with memories of a loving mother, a fearless fighter, and with her writings which include: “A loss of a love. Time without words leaves you wondering. The whys in your head are somewhat haunting. You look for the answers deep in your soul. Only to find that “time” has again made you whole.”
Calling hours for family and friends will be held from 4:00 – 7:00 pm on Friday, August 28, 2015 at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
