Patrick Anthony LaMacchia's Obituary
Patrick Anthony LaMacchia, 82, of Liverpool, passed away May 28, 2024. He was born in Syracuse, son of the late Anthony and Mary (Calcagno) LaMacchia and graduated from Central Tech High School. Patrick served in the U.S. Army from 1963-1969. He worked at General Electric and Young and Franklin as an inventory control specialist. Patrick enjoyed going to the casino, traveling, fishing, picnics, and spending time with his family.
In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his best friend, Thomas E. O’Connor.
Patrick is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Barbara (Holtz) LaMacchia; his mother-in-law, Helen Holtz; two sisters, Kathy (James) Colagiovanni and Nancy (Tom) Edwards; many nieces and nephews and his cat, Spunky.

Calling hours will be held at Buckley Road Baptist Church on Thursday, June 6, 2024 from 9:15 – 11:15 am, followed by a funeral service in celebration of Patrick’s life at 11:30 am at the church, 4962 Buckley Rd., Liverpool, NY. He will be laid to rest with Military Honors in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery, Baldwinsville, NY.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of CNY, 990 7th North St., Liverpool, NY 13088.
