Paul P. Froio's Obituary
Paul P. Froio, 82, of Minoa, passed away at James Square Nursing Home on Monday, March 2, 2015. He was born in Syracuse, the son of the late Joseph and Mary Froio. Paul was a graduate of North High School. He was employed as a Foreman with the City of Syracuse Transportation Department for many years.
He was predeceased by his four brothers, Dominick, John, Joseph and Peter Froio and his sister, Anne Froio.
Paul is survived by his brother, Anthony A. Froio of Minoa; his two sisters, Rose Tripoli of Minoa and Catherine (Dario) Meluni of Camillus, along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Paul’s family would like to thank Crouse Hospital and James Square where he was well cared for at both.
A funeral service in celebration of Paul’s life will be held at 12:00 pm on Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME. Entombment will follow in Assumption Cemetery. A calling hour for family and friends will be held from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm on Wednesday at the funeral home, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
