Paul W. Kolodzie's Obituary
Paul W. Kolodzie, 47, of N. Syracuse, passed away unexpectedly on February 19, 2025. He was born in Syracuse and received his bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from SUNY Polytechnic in Utica. Paul worked for Northline Utilities as a Project Manager. He was an Eagle Scout and avid Buffalo Bills fan. Paul was a member of Champions Fitness and enjoyed spending time with friends, especially at Full Boar and McGraw Box North. He loved vacationing on Carnival Cruises and hiking in the Adirondacks and Beaver Lake.
Paul is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Ann (Hucko) Kolodzie; his daughter, Julia Kolodzie and son, Thomas Kolodzie; his parents, Paul J. and Patricia (O’Hern) Kolodzie; two brothers, Mathew (Lisa) Kolodzie and Joseph Kolodzie; several beloved nieces and nephews, and his dog, Nova.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, from 3:00 – 6:00 pm, at THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, immediately followed by a funeral service in celebration of Paul’s life at 6 pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Paul’s name may be made to Helping Hounds Dog Rescue and Beaver Lake Nature Center.
