Paul Recore's Obituary
Paul Recore, age 60, passed away on March 27, 2024, in Syracuse, NY.
He was born in Cape Charles, VA, on September 19, 1963. He spent some time living in Florida before moving to Ogdensburg, NY, where he spent a large part of his adult life. It was there that he met his future wife Gail in 2010. They moved to Liverpool, NY, and were married in 2014.
Paul appreciated the simple joys in life. He was a lover of rock music, movies, coffee, and his pomeranian dogs, Daisy and Tucker. He enjoyed several cups of coffee a day, always excited to try new drinks/brands, even working at Dunkin Donuts several times throughout his life. He was a night owl who enjoyed attending concerts and visiting the NY State Fair every year. He was a kind, thoughtful and patient man, loving husband, son, sibling, uncle, stepfather, and friend. Paul was a quiet man but his words were used to connect with and show care for those he loved.
Paul is predeceased by his mother, Shirley Recore; father, Paul K. Recore; his sister, Christina Lintz; brother, Alan Recore; stepson, Andrew Lawton; and his beloved dog, Daisy.
Paul is survived by his loving wife, Gail M. Rivet of Liverpool; his sister Marilyn LaRue of Ogdensburg; his niece Carrie Recore of Ogdensburg; his stepdaughter Hope Lawton of Liverpool, along with Kevin Freeman, Liza Lawton, Harmonie Lawton, and Honnor Lawton of Liverpool, and his dog Tucker.
There are no funeral services.
