Paul T. Slowik's Obituary
Paul T. Slowik, 55, of Syracuse, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 5, 2024 at Crouse Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Cheektowaga, NY to Paul J. and Mary F. (Pruski) Slowik and was a veteran of the US Air Force. Paul worked as an event manager for Club Demonstration Services and provided many demonstrations at Costco. His love of the outdoors was notable; in his youth, Paul became an Eagle Scout and he was also a devoted hunter and fisherman. He had a love of sports and was an avid fan of the Buffalo Bills and the Syracuse Orange.
Paul is predeceased by his father, Paul J. Slowik.
He is survived by his wife, Amelita (Acebo) Slowik; his children, Heather Slowik Emmons and Austin Slowik; his grandchildren, Noah Emmons and Alice Slowik; his mother, Mary (Pruski) Slowik; his sister, Tracy Slowik-Benz; along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will take place from 12:00 – 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, April 13, 2024 followed by a funeral service in celebration of Paul’s life at 2:00 P.M. at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse.
