Paul B. "Bernie" Stanzione's Obituary
Paul B. “Bernie” Stanzione, 69, of Liverpool, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on July 5, 2025. He was born in Bristol, RI, son of the late Louis and Elizabeth (Crowley) Stanzione.

He began as part-owner and operator of Medical Sports Fitness Centers, then became a partner and general manager of Envirotech of America and finally made his most lasting impact as owner and operator of Stanzione Jewelers for the past 40 years.
As a husband, father, and grandfather, Bernie most enjoyed vacationing on the beach with his wife Joanne, playing golf and watching sports with son Paul, dancing and singing to oldies with his daughter Jenna, intently shopping any candy aisle with his son-in-law Sheldon, bonding over a shared love of all things Maine with his daughter-in-law Meghan, sending daily pictures of his two beautiful grandchildren around the country, keeping his entire family in stitches, and brightening the life of anyone he met.
In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his sister, Barbara Popeleski.
Bernie is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Joanne (Fioramonti) Stanzione; his son, Paul (Meghan) Stanzione; his daughter, Jenna (Sheldon) Griffin; three grandchildren, Leo Stanzione, Gianna and Brielle Griffin; two sisters, Bonnie (Tom) Maher and Beverly (Marty) Hammon; his brother, Barry (Cecile) Stanzione; brother-in-law, Mark Popeleski, along with several nieces and nephews and countless dear friends who were always there for Bernie in so many ways.
