Pauline Ann (Dardeno) Baird's Obituary
Pauline Ann (Dardeno) Baird, 79, of Syracuse, passed away on July 2, 2024, at Francis House. She was surrounded by family and is now at peace with the Lord. Pauline was born in Syracuse, NY, to Rosario and Rosalie (Finochio) Dardeno. She had a strong faith, a gentle soul that radiated kindness, and a smile that lit up the room. Pauline loved baking Italian cookies, laughing at silly jokes, and sharing her positive outlook on life. However, she was happiest while spending time with family and friends.
Pauline is survived by her four children, Elizabeth, Andrea, John Douglas III (Shannon), and Michael (Celine) Baird; five grandchildren, John Douglas IV, Levi, Ezra, Michael Jr., and AJ Baird; two sisters, Victoria Quigley and Rosanne (Daniel) Wisniewski; sister-in-law, Marylyn Dardeno; along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Pauline is predeceased by her husband, John Douglas Baird, Jr.; her parents; her brother, Rosario Dardeno; and her brother-in-law, Cornelius Quigley.
There will be no funeral services at this time. A celebration of Pauline’s life will be held at a later date.
