Pauline (Tinuzzo) LoRe's Obituary
On June 25th Pauline (Tinuzzo) LoRe, loving wife, mother and grandmother passed away at home at the age of 84.
Pauline was born in Syracuse and grew up on the city’s Northside and was a graduate of North High School Class of 1955. She spent her career working for the phone company and retired from Verizon after many years of service.
Pauline was a great cook and enjoyed gatherings with family and friends. She especially enjoyed cooking and providing meals for anyone that stopped by. She enjoyed gardening, crocheting, caring for her many houseplants and flowers. Pauline also enjoyed caring for the stray cat or dog that would find a home at her house through the years.
The most cherished part of her life was caring for her children and grandchildren.
Pauline is survived by her husband of 65 years Santino Cannavo LoRe; children Frank LoRe MD (Meg), Marie LoRe Geigel PhD (Joe) and Lucy LoRe Misco (Kim) along with her grandchildren Lucas, Matthew, Jack, Julia, Nicholas, Lauren and Lily, as well as her many loving relatives and friends.
Calling hours will be held on Monday, June 28, 2021, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. followed by a funeral service at 1 at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Road (corner of Buckley Road) in North Syracuse. Entombment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery Mausoleum.
