Pauline E. Mirizio's Obituary
Pauline E. Mirizio, 79, of Syracuse, passed away December 7, 2022 at Crouse Hospital. She was born in Syracuse, daughter of the late Thomas and Mary Mirizio. Pauline received her master’s in education and was a teacher at St. Anthony’s School, retiring after many dedicated years. She was a devout Catholic and dedicated her life to her family. Pauline will be remembered as the “Fun Aunt”.
In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by her siblings, Philomena Locci, Frank Mirizio and Dominick Mirizio.
Pauline is survived by her sister, Nora Coglitore of Lyncourt, along with many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
A Funeral Mass in celebration of Pauline’s life will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, December 10, 2022 at Our Lady of Pompei/St. Peter Church, 301 Ash St., Syracuse, NY. Burial will follow in Assumption Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Our Lady of Pompei/St. Peter Church Building Fund.
