Percy W. "Skip" Littlefield, Jr.'s Obituary
Percy W. “Skip” Littlefield, Jr., 86, passed away at home on Saturday, March 18, 2017. He was born in Pennsylvania, son of the late Zelda (Jamison) and Percy W. Littlefield, Sr. He served with the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict. Skip was a welder with the Onondaga County Highway Department for 35 years, as well as working with his wife Bonnie for 26 years at Glory Bee Bakery, a catholic charities/jail ministry project.
He is predeceased by his wife of 60 years, Bonnie A. (Bass) Littlefied in 2013.
Skip is survived by 3 sons, Shawn (Christi) Littlefield, Kelly (Kim) Littlefield, and Erin (Debra) Littlefield; 2 daughters, Tammy (Kevin) Hotchkiss and Mary Laurie (Joseph) Giamartino; 14 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren, along with many siblings, nieces, nephews, cousins, and his beloved cat, Sophie.
A Funeral Mass in celebration of Skip’s life will be held on Friday, March 24, 2017 at 10:00 AM in St. Mary’s of the Lake Church, Skaneateles. Family and friends may call from 5:00 – 8:00 PM on Thursday, March 23, 2017 at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
