Peter Bonacci's Obituary
On Friday, March 29, 2019, Peter Bonacci, 96, of Syracuse went home to be with his Lord and Savior. Although he will be greatly missed here, I’m sure he had a warm welcome from all who have been waiting for him. Peter passed away at home surrounded by family. He was born in Naples, Italy, immigrating to the United States at the age of 16. Peter lived a life full of love, he was hardworking, and family meant everything to him. He loved to garden and bake in his free time after retiring from Crouse Hinds after 47 years as an iron worker.
He was predeceased by his wife, Florence Bonacci (Nappa) of 67 years and his son, Anthony Bonacci.
Peter is survived by his daughters, Corrine Wunder and Eda DeLooze; 8 grandchildren; 14 great- grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
