Peter Carroway's Obituary
Peter Carroway, 78, of Liverpool, passed away at home on Saturday, November 25, 2017. Peter attended Saint John’s Catholic Academy (Evangelist), Niagara University and served in the U. S. Coast Guard Reserves. He was a systems analyst at Niagara Mohawk and retired after 35 years of dedicated service.
He was predeceased by his parents, J. Kent and Sadie Carroway, and daughter, Suzanne (Carroway) Berti.
Peter is survived by his wife of 54 years, Monica (Boivin) Carroway; sons, Thomas and Christopher Carroway; daughter, Kathleen (John) Kuryla; son-in-law, Donald Berti; grandchildren, Jordan and Jillian Berti, John P., Christopher, and Sophie Kuryla, Bryn and Sadie Carroway; brother, Robert (Mary) Carroway of Arizona; sister, Catherine (Steven) Needham of Camillus, along with many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 9 am on Friday, December 1, 2017 at THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, followed by a Funeral Mass in celebration of Peter’s life at 10 am in the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, DeWitt. Family and friends may call from 4 -7 pm on Thursday, November 30, 2017 at THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
