Sorry to hear on this loss. I am a long time neighbor and was shocked to hear of this. I wish the girls the best and donated to the fund. I will miss our light talks and hope the girls find peace and grace.
Katie and Sarah Rose, we are deeply saddened about loss of your dad. Peter was an amazing dad. I will never forget seeing him at St. Margaret's craft shows. My husband and I enjoyed seeing him getting coffee at Delta Sonic in North Syracuse and loved hearing updates about both of you. His smile always lit up when he talked about his girls. The world definitely lost a great person.

Sarah and Kate, words cannot express how sorry I am in the passing of your father. He would always talk about you both. He was so proud of you, telling me stories of how you were doing, and then so happy to show me pictures of you. We had a lot of conversations about you, and then he always asked how Faith was doing as well. He was an extraordinary man, and he will be missed by everyone. Sarah Rose and Katie - our hearts go out to you for the loss of your Father. Even if you didn’t know him you knew who he was because he was always present with a kind word or smile anywhere he was. Even though I haven’t seen him in a while, something felt missing when I was at mass last night at St. Margaret’s. I will never be able to go to another craft fair without picturing him there at his booth. Or looking out from the kitchen during fish fry and see him sitting at a table enjoying a meal. Not only would he do anything for the two of you he really is the guy that would give you his last dollar if someone was in need. The Merrill family is happy to have known him. Please remember that there are many people that witnessed the love he had for the two of you and are there to help you in any way you need it.
