Peter P. Pacitto's Obituary
Peter P. Pacitto, 92, of DeWitt, passed away peacefully on November 16, 2022. He was born in Utica, son of the late Angelo and Angelina Pacitto and graduated from Proctor High School. For the following four years, Peter served his country honorably during the Korean Conflict. In 1954, Peter married Antoinette A. Federico in a service celebrated by Peter’s father, Rev. Angelo Pacitto. Peter then went on to earn a degree in engineering from Syracuse University. For over 19 years, Peter and Antoinette owned and operated Henry’s Hamburgs and subsequently Sandee’s Fast Foods, one of the original drive-in restaurants within the Syracuse area. Peter and Antoinette were members of Abundant Life Christian Center in East Syracuse. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who cherished spending time with his family, especially during the holidays.
Peter is predeceased by his loving wife, Antoinette in December of 2019.
He is survived by his three children, David (Maureen), Michael (Kim), and Laurie Bronner; his four grandchildren, Brendon, Michael (Laryssa), Kyle, and Ryan.
Calling hours will take place on Wednesday, November 30, 2022 from 10 – 11:30 am followed by a funeral service in celebration of Peter’s life at 12 pm at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY. Burial with Military Honors will follow in White Chapel Memory Gardens, DeWitt.
