Peter E. Pietra Sr.'s Obituary
Peter E. Pietra, Sr., 64, of Syracuse, passed away Thursday in St. Joseph’s Hospital. He was born in Syracuse, son of Joseph and Thelma E. (Stewart) Pietra. Peter was employed as a mechanic at Koerner Ford.
He was predeceased by his brother, Joseph Pietra, Jr.
Peter is survived by his son, Peter (Nikki) Pietra; his granddaughter, Aaliyah Pietra; his sister, Rosalind Correia; former wife, Deborah Manzano; three nephews, Matthew, Timothy, and Richard Rushford, and his dog “Rocko”.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, May 23, 2017 from 9:30 am – 11 am, immediately followed by a funeral service in celebration of Peter’s life at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY. Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery.
