Peter S. Talarico's Obituary
Peter Samuel Talarico passed away on May 25, 2025, at the age of 95. He was born November 28, 1929, in Syracuse, NY, the son of Catherine (Cazzola) and Thomas Talarico, where he lived all his life. Peter joined the Marine Corps in 1947 and served until 1950. He was a Carpenter for Labors Local 12 in Syracuse. He later went on to work for Onondaga County as a Union Carpenter and retired at the age of 62. Peter enjoyed his retirement in Naples Florida with his loving wife Dotty, who passed away in 2001.
In addition to his wife of 50 years, Dorothy (Urciuoli), he is also predeceased by his brother, Tony Talarico and companion, Sharon Hardenburgh.
Peter is survived by his 3 children, Thomas J. (Donna), Linda Caiella (Robert), and Mary Ann Talarico; 9 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and his brother Joe.

A funeral service in celebration of Peter’s life will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, June 2, 2025, at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, followed by burial with Military Honors in Woodlawn Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 1:00 – 4:00 pm on Sunday, June 1, 2025, at the funeral home, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
