Philip T. Brady's Obituary
Philip T. Brady, 76, of Fayetteville, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, July 31, 2019. He was born in Bronx, NY, son of the late Philip A. and Helen (O’Sullivan) Brady.
After graduating from Fordham Preparatory School in the Bronx, and Notre Dame University in South Bend, Indiana, where he met his wife-to-be, he attended the Wharton School of Business in Pennsylvania. In Syracuse, Phil worked in the printing business, focusing on pharmaceutical labeling. Phil most enjoyed traveling the world; spending summers in Sackets Harbor on Lake Ontario; his eleven grandchildren; his weekly poker game; and entertaining both with amazing meals and somewhat exaggerated stories. He will be remembered for his quick wit and generosity.
Philip is survived by his wife of 52 years, Sheila (Rumely) Brady; children, Philip A. Brady of Manlius, Megan (Stephen) Balderston of Clarendon Hills, IL; Barbara (Scott) Hakim of Greenwich, CT, and Michael (Jennifer) Brady of Fayetteville; 11 grandchildren, Celia and James Balderston, Lily, Emma and Henry Hakim, Philip, Elizabeth, Caroline, Grace, Katherine, and Patrick Brady; his brother, Brian (Carol) Brady of Lake Carmel, NY, along with many beloved nieces, nephews, friends, and cousins.
