Philip Tripolone's Obituary
Philip Tripolone, 68, passed away suddenly on Sunday at his home in Syracuse. He was a graduate of North High School, Lemoyne College and Syracuse University College of Law. Philip was a member of the NYS Bar Association and practiced law in the Syracuse area for almost 40 years. In addition to practicing law, Philip also wrote poetry and compiled many of his poems in books which reflected his two passions, the law and horse racing. Philip was a devoted son, brother and uncle. His father Bernard passed away when Philip was 18 years old, he not only put himself through college, but helped support his mother and took care of his 3 younger brothers. Philip is survived by his mother, Rose (Lazzaro) Tripolone; his brothers, Bernard (Bonnie) Tripolone, Anthony (Gloria) Tripolone and Mario (Jodi) Tripolone; many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews as well as aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday at 10:00 AM in Thomas J. Pirro Funeral Home and 11:00 AM in St. Margaret's Church, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 4 to 8 PM.
