Phillip J. Smith's Obituary
Phillip J. Smith, 27, of Clay, passed away unexpectedly on December 12, 2017. He was born in Syracuse and worked at Vallar’s Tile and Marble. Phillip was a free spirit, who was always there to help relatives and friends in need. He loved Sunday dinners, holidays and being with family. Phillip loved making people laugh, especially with a practical joke. He will be missed beyond measure, but will stay in our hearts forever.
He is predeceased by his grandmother, Patsy (Netzer) Lang; his uncles, Fran and Troy Deyo.
Phillip is survived by his parents, Adam and Yvonne (Deyo) Smith; his brother Jacob; his sister Alyssa; his best friend and brother, Marcus Drummond; grandparents, Michael and Linda Orbino, William Smith, and Robert Lang; uncles, Chris, Michael Paul, Tony, Brian, Howard, Shawn, Jamie; and several cousins.
Family and friends may call from 4:00 – 7:00 pm, followed by a Funeral Service in celebration of Phillip’s life at 7:00 pm on Monday, December 18, 2017 at THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Phillip’s name to Golisano Children’s Hospital, 750 East Adams St. CAB326, Syracuse, NY 13210.
