Phyllis (Ciaccio) Ludovico's Obituary
Phyllis (Ciaccio) Ludovico, 86, of Rochester, NY, passed away peacefully on December 7, 2020 at Strong Memorial Hospital. She was born in Buffalo to the late Michael and Josephine (Pecaroa) Ciaccio. Phyllis worked for many years as bookkeeping manager at Hiscock & Barclay. Faith was important to Phyllis; she was a devoted Christian, always holding on to her rosary beads. She enjoyed making afghans and baking for her family and friends. Phyllis also loved traveling with her husband Franklin, and spending time with her family, especially when attending her grandchildren’s activities.
In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband, Franklin in 2015; two brothers, Vito and Salvatore Ciaccio and a sister, Angie Muller.
Phyllis is survived by her son and daughter, Michael (Donna) Ludovico and Maria Ludovico; granddaughters, Lauren, Alexis and Regina Ludovico; grandsons, Rocky II, Brennon and Tonio Pugliese; two sisters, June Pietrzak and Mary Acquisto; a sister-in-law, Lena Ciaccio; along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A private funeral mass will be held for immediate family. Phyllis will be laid to rest next to her husband in the Onondaga County Veterans Memorial Cemetery. To view the funeral mass remotely, please use the link on Phyllis’ tribute page on Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at 11:30 am.
