Pietro Lisa's Obituary
Pietro Lisa, 88, of Las Vegas, NV, passed away Sunday, June 22, 2014. He was born in Venetico Marina, Italy and came to the United States in 1958. Pietro was employed with Marsellus Casket Company and retired from B.G. Sulzle after over 20 years of service.
He was predeceased by his parents, three brothers and two sisters.
Pietro is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Rosa (DiMento) Lisa; his two daughters, Joanne (Paul) Welch of Liverpool and Victoria Strauss of Las Vegas; five grandchildren, along with several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Friday at 9:00 am in the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, followed by a funeral mass in celebration of Pietro’s life at 10:00 am in Our Lady of Pompei/St. Peter Church. Entombment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery Mausoleum. Family and friends may call from 4:00 to 7:00 pm on Thursday at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
