Providenza "Pearl" (Russo) Siano's Obituary
Providenza “Pearl” (Russo) Siano, 84, of Liverpool, passed away on Saturday, June 10, 2017. Pearl was born in Syracuse, the daughter of the late James and Josephine Russo. A graduate of Central High School, Pearl was a member of the Christian Brothers Academy Mothers Club, St. Margaret’s School Mothers Club, the Salina Seniors, and was a supporter of Father Flanigan’s Boys Town and Covenant House for homeless children. Pearl was employed by New York Telephone, Crucible Steel, Sibley’s Department Store and Chappell’s Department Store.
She is predeceased by her husband, Michael J. Siano, Jr., and brother Joseph.
Pearl is survived by her four children, Michael (Fran) Siano, Stephen (Bettina) Siano, Kathleen (Joe) Carfagno, and Lisa (Mark) Romano; grandchildren, Michael, Sara, Joseph, Jonathan, Matthew, Zachary, Steven, and Brittany; one great-grandchild, Lana; her brother, James (Patricia) Russo.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Thursday, June 15, 2017 at the Thomas J. Pirro Jr. Funeral Home, followed by a Funeral Mass in celebration of Pearl’s life at 11:30 A.M. in St. Margaret’s Church. Burial will follow in Assumption Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 4:00 – 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at the funeral home, 3401 Vickery Rd. (Corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
