Ralph A. Parrillo's Obituary
Ralph A. Parrillo, 97, of East Syracuse, passed away at home on Wednesday, February 4, 2015. He was born in Syracuse, the son of the late Dominic and Rosalia (Napalitano) Parrillo. A graduate of Vocational High School, Ralph was a WWII Army veteran, a devout catholic and longtime parishioner of The Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception Church. He was employed by New York Central Rail Road for over 40 years. Ralph was an avid golfer and golf champion at many various local clubs and always enjoyed watching sports, especially Syracuse University.
He was predeceased by his wife, Marion (Byrne) Parrillo; brothers, Anthony, Peter Sr., and Dominick Parrillo; sisters, Elsie Zeolla, Grace, Betty and Angie Parrillo.
Ralph is survived by numerous loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 9:00 am on Monday, February 9, 2015 at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME followed by a Funeral Mass in celebration of Ralph’s life at 10:00 am in The Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception Church. Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery. A calling hour for family and friends will be held from 8:00 to 9:00 am on Monday at the funeral home, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse.
