Ralph A. Vincitore, 75, passed away peacefully on November 18, 2025, at St. Joseph’s Health Hospital in Syracuse, NY after a battle with cancer. His wife and daughter were at his side. He was born to Ralph J. and Phyllis Vincitore Read Obituary
It was the summer of 1978 I was a student attending Syracuse University and had a summer job working for Backus Ford on Erie Blvd. I walked into the used car department and was introduced to “Ralphie”. A smiling good looking guy who immediately welcomed me with a hug. For this moment on we became life long friends… As we all went separate ways I was fortunate enough to see Ralph at the restaurant working the bar. Whenever he saw me or my family he had that smile of his and would make it an effort to come out to hug and kiss me… and of course it was I love you man… and you know what he truly did love me and my family.
So long for now my friend I will treasure you forever and always love you, thank you for being a part of my life and that of my families.

My condolences to Ralph’s family as he definitely was one of the good guys from Liverpool. always was a smiling face in a handshake when we met and we probably known each other for 40 or 50 years. Rest in peace Ralph for you earned it.
There isn’t enough time in a day or space on this page to share all the wonderful memories that we have of our dear friend,Ralph❤️. We truly lost a giant, just a kind,wonderful man! Most of our memories are from his days at Santangelo’s (best bartender ever!) or our visits to Utica(Ventura’s) and his beautiful home in Clayton……..always filled with fun,laughter and sometimes tears. Although we are so sad of his passing, it brings us great comfort to know that he is no longer in any pain. The memories are ours to cherish always!! This world will never be the same without Ralph.
