Raymond DiPietro's Obituary
Raymond B. DiPietro, 80, of Minoa, passed away peacefully Wednesday at Loretto surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Syracuse, the son of the late Nunzio and Angelina (Bonfe) DiPietro. Raymond was formerly employed with Carrier Corporation and New York Central Railroad. He was then self-employed as owner and operator of DiPietro Energy Efficient Systems. Raymond was a member of the Masonic Military 93 Lodge in Manlius and the Eastern Star. He loved to cook, was an avid writer and author, a member and past president of the Syracuse Heating Association, a Psychic Plumber and a member and past president of the Mental Health Association.
He was predeceased by his sons, Jerald, John and Robert. Raymond is survived by his loving wife, Florence (Reese) DiPietro; his son, Raymond W. (Deborah) DiPietro of Kirkville, his daughter, Angela MacDowell of Fayetteville, 9 grandchildren, including Jessica with whom he resided, and 12 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11:30 am with Rev. John Ahern in the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME. Family and friends may call at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse on Friday from 4:00 to 7:00 pm.
