Rebecca A. "Becki" Bovalino-Baker's Obituary
Rebecca A. “Becki” Bovalino-Baker, 41, of Brewerton, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, June 29, 2014. She was born in Syracuse and was a graduate of Solvay High School and Onondaga Community College. Becki was formerly employed with Verizon for 15 years. She was a generous and loving mother, daughter and sister. Her smile lit up a room. She loved the outdoors, especially being with her children while camping and boating. Becki will be missed by all and have a special place in our hearts.
Becki is survived by her children, Alexa K. Baker, Jenna C. Baker, and Jadyn R. Baker; her parents, Nancy (Thomas) Preble and Samuel F. Bovalino; her grandparents, Helen Schinto and Samuel Bovalino; siblings, Sam Bovalino III, Sherri Barletta, and Peter (Barbara) Bovalino; step-brothers, Jeff and Greg Preble; her companion Bob Brown; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A funeral mass in celebration of Rebecca’s life will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at Christ the King Church, Liverpool. Family and friends may call from 3:00 to 7:00 pm on Monday, July 7, 2014 at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
