Rev. Alfred H. Hohbach's Obituary
Rev. Alfred H. Hohbach, 87, of Liverpool, passed away on Thursday, August 12, 2021. Born in Newark, NJ the son of German immigrants, Alfred and Hildegard Hohbach. He was a lifelong member and a minister of the New Apostolic Church. Being a lover of music from a very young age, he was a member of the Junior Syracuse Symphony and he carried that into his later years by being a choir director.
He was predeceased by his loving wife of 54 years, Ruth U. Hohbach in 2009.
He is survived by his daughters. Karen R. (Kenneth) Comfort and Jennifer M. (Randy) Bauer; grandchildren, Christopher and Cody Comfort, Victoria (Adam) Argraves, Jonathan Bauer (Alayana James); great-grandchildren, Isaac Argraves and Frances James-Bauer.
A calling hour will be held on Saturday, September 11, 2021 from 9:45am to 10:45am at New Apostolic Church 7045 Buckley Rd. Syracuse, NY 13212. A funeral service will follow at 11:00am in the church.
