Richard Knill Chapman VI's Obituary
Richard Knill Chapman VI came into this world on October 26, 2021. His family included his parents Ploysong (Chaichoochote) Chapman and Richard K Chapman V, older sister Chloe Chapman, and grandparents Pantip Chaichoochote, Peg Robinson, Richard K Chapman IV, and Paula Chapman. He had a robust extended family, including Candace and Jennifer Chapman Hanley (Portia, Trever, Cameron, Ezra), Alice and Chad Chapman Heffentrager (Azaria, Xavier, Asher), and Logan and Reese Chapman. His family savored every moment they possibly could. Richard, or Knill as he was called, was diagnosed with Rhizomelic Chondrodysplasia Punctata, a rare genetic disorder. He proved to be incredibly strong, and despite the limitations of his body, was able to experience the natural world, visit the many friends he made, and even travel. He had a sweet and gentle soul, touching those around him with his serene presence. He received such profound love and gave it in return. Knill will be held in the hearts of everyone whose lives he enriched.
Please join us for a celebration of Knill’s life on Tuesday, May 24, 2022 from 4:00 – 6:00 pm at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
