Richard V. Graf's Obituary
Richard V. Graf, 76, of Kirkville, NY (formerly of Rochelle Park, NJ) passed away peacefully at home on September 3, 2016.
Richard was born in Geingen/Brenz, Germany on May 1, 1940 to Richard and Lina (nee Braun) Graf. A devoted Servant of God, husband, father, and grandfather, Richard took great pride in everything he did. He was a retired minister in the New Apostolic Church, serving for 47 years and worked as a tool and die maker for 50 years. A model train enthusiast, he enjoyed sharing his collection with his grandchildren. He was known by family and friends for the delicious spaetzle he made to perfection.
Richard is survived by his beloved wife, Betty (nee Boek) of 49 years; three sons: David (Janet), Thomas (Beth), Peter (Sara); and Carrie and seven grandchildren: TJ, Courtney, Anna, Ana, Andrew, Jonathan and Sammy. He is also survived by his sister, Gisela (Walter) Holberg and two nieces, Cindy and Becky.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, September 10, 2016 at the New Apostolic Church, 7045 Buckley Road, N. Syracuse, NY. Calling hours will be held at the church on Saturday from 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM.
