Richard D. Grigg, 68, a longtime resident of North Syracuse, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, July 31, 2021. Rick was born in Buffalo, NY. He was the son of the late Donald and Elizabeth (Hines) Grigg. He graduated from West Read Obituary

So sad to see that Rich left us so soon. Liz and I are sorry for your loss. I have fond memories of starting out as a newlywed in the neighborhood and seeing Rich walk around as we did with our kids. Talking SU sports was always fun too. He was a good neighbor! I hope your many fond memories comfort you now and in the future.
Rick & I were part of the same fellowship where I learned of his lawnmowing activities. My parents lived in Cicero and he took care of their lawn up until the house was sold after my father‘s passing and my mother needed to be moved into care. Rick and I also did some odd jobs together it was always great to see him and I know how much he loved his grandkids. Taken much too soon, I’m sorry for your loss he will be missed
To Joanne, Lauren and Al- Your constant kindness and selflessness for the last 25years is one that has shown me the meaning of true friendship. This picture was one from one of our many trips to a basketball game. I’m grateful for being included in such a beloved hobby of you and your dads. Rick’s subtle sarcasm and endless wit is something that will make me laugh for years to come. Thank you for including me and my family, in yours. Love you guys! 💙🧡💙🧡

My sincerest condolences to the Grigg Family. Rick was so good to my Dad Dominic on Dolores Terrace. He mowed his lawn for years at quite the bargain price. I had to beg him once to take just a $5.00 raise. I had a few nice chats with Rick when I was visiting my Dad. He was such a kind man. I am sure he will be missed.

I am really sorry for your loss, I worked with Rick at Carrier for many years. We played softball on Sunday mornings years ago. We would always catch up on people and things at the Crunch games before I moved Florida. He was a great guy to know and work with. Condolences to your family. Brian Clarke
