Richard R. Jones' Obituary
Richard R. Jones, 75, of North Syracuse, passed away on Thursday, April 18, 2013. He retired from the Mattydale Animal Hospital, was a founder of NAVAC ambulance, Past Chief of North Syracuse Volunteer Fire Department and a past member of the Hinsdale Fire Department.
He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Anna (Pillion) Jones; children, Richard (Valerie), Robert (Deanna), Robin (Chris) Williams, Michael, Debbie (Dan) Ford, and Deanna Stallknecht; several grandchildren and great grandchildren and many cherished friends.
Funeral services will be held on Monday at 9:00 am in the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME and 10:00 am in St. Rose of Lima Church. Burial will follow in North Syracuse Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse on Sunday from 1:00 to 4:00 pm.
