Richard J. Pascarella's Obituary
Richard J. Pascarella, 77, of Cicero, passed away Thursday, October 8, 2020 peacefully surrounded by his loving family. Born in Syracuse to the late Andrew and Constance (Raite) Pascarella, Richard worked over 37 dedicated years with Conrail, later retiring as a foreman for CSX. He enjoyed fishing, the outdoors, visiting local casinos, and was an avid New York Yankees fan.
Along with his parents, Richard was predeceased by his first wife of 41 years, Gail (Stevens) Pascarella, and his second wife of 10 years, Kathryn (Dustick) Pascarella.
Richard is survived by 2 sons, Andrew (April) Pascarella, and Matthew (Josie) Pascarella; 4 grandchildren, A.J., Alexis, Gina, and Michael Pascarella; 1 great-granddaughter, Ava Pascarella; and a sister, Linda (Robert) Macina.
Family and friends may call on Monday, October 12, 2020 from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME 3401 Vickery Rd. (Corner of Buckley Rd.) N. Syracuse, NY 13212. Funeral services will be private, and Richard will be laid to rest in Assumption Cemetery.
