Richard C. "Rick" Reale's Obituary
Richard C. “Rick” Reale, 81, passed away on February 3, 2026.
A much-loved uncle and friend, Rick will be remembered for his kindness, wit, and passion for learning new things.
After graduating from North Syracuse HS, he started Richards Paving, which he owned and operated for many years. For over 81 years, he was an avid storyteller, learned to pilot a plane, enjoyed annual box seats to the Daytona 500, and was kind to everyone he knew.
He is survived by his nephews Daniel (Janet) Annesi (CT), Jeffrey (Catherine) Annesi (MI), Andrew (Christina) Annesi (NY), and niece Kimberly Dillabough (NY).
A calling hour will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2026, from 11:00 A.M. – 12:00 P.M. at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, immediately followed by a funeral service in celebration of Rick’s life in the funeral home, 3401 Vickery Rd. (Corner of Buckley Rd.) Syracuse, NY 13212.
Rick’s gentle nature and warmth will be remembered by all who were fortunate to know him.
