Richard R. Sardo's Obituary
Richard R. Sardo, 49, of Syracuse, passed away Tuesday unexpectedly at his home. He was born in Syracuse and was a graduate of Henninger High School. Richard also played football for Wagner and Brockport Colleges. He was a self employed contractor in the Syracuse area for many years and belonged to the Painters Union in New York City.
He was predeceased by his grandparents, Benny and Anna DiMauro. Richard is survived by his mother, Marie (DiMauro) Sardo of Syracuse; his sister, Lisa Sardo of Syracuse; his nephew, Michael Lang of Syracuse along with many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services will be held on Monday at 10:00 am in the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME and 11:00 am in Assumption Church, where a funeral mass will be celebrated. Entombment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery Mausoleum. Family and friends may call at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse on Sunday from 1:00 to 4:00 pm.
