Rita L. (Orzel) Begay, known as “Gramma B.” 85, of N. Syracuse, joined her husband Michael (Big Mike) in heaven on Sunday, after suffering a recent stroke. She was born in Cheektowaga, N.Y. the daughter of the late John and Clara Read Obituary

You will live in our hearts forever as we cherish your memories and big loving heart as good as gold for family and strangers alike. Both you and Dad always instilled family values and morals especially when it came to our catholic faith and education. You both always gave us what you could and sacrificed your own to provide for us & others.
We know you and Dad are together again forever. Your wit always made us laugh thru the years.You always loved to cook, make polish foods and listen to polish music!
We know Dad was waiting for you with open arms to join him, Eleanor and Stan once again forever! Thank you for everything you have done for all of us in this life.
I am proud to be your daughter and only hope I can carry on your beliefs and traditions like you have with us. I will always love and cherish you and Dad forever!
Now you can rest peacefully and enjoy Dad, God and family and friends in eternity.

I love you very, very much and appreciate you always being there for us all. I will miss our daily visits and conversations. We will continue our faith that you and dad taught us. I can well imagine when you arrived and touched the face of God and he hugged you and said "well done my faithful child". I want to share this prayer that was on the back of Lorre's father (Poppy) prayer card. God saw she was getting tired and a cure was not to be, So He put his arms around her and Whispered, Come with Me. With tearful eyes we watched her suffer and saw her fade away, Although we loved her dearly we could not make her stay. A golden heart stopped beating Hard working hands to rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us He only takes the best. I also want to thank The Francis House for all of their loving care and making my mother comfortable throughout her illness. There are no words to describe what you meant to me & your "Rouja" (Ryan). There will forever be a void in our hearts but we know you are now in a better place & are now with Grampa B. I will miss our conversations. I will take good care of your Jimmy & Rouja!

We are going to miss Gramma B so much. She has always been such a thoughtful and caring person. We will treasure the memories and wonderful conversations. She always made me laugh.
