Rita C. Lawton 's Obituary
Rita C. (Leone) Lawton, 82, of Liverpool, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family at the home of her youngest son, Peter. She was born in Syracuse and retired from General Electric in Liverpool. She was predeceased by her husband, Howard James; her son, Howard David and her brothers, Patrick and Anthony Leone. Rita is survived by her sons, Mark (Kathy) Lawton of Liverpool and Peter (Angela) Lawton of Watervliet, NY; four grandchildren, Tim, Matt, Jaclyn and Alicia; brother, Peter (Angela) Leone of Syracuse and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday at 8:00 am in the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME and 9:00 am in St. Joseph the Worker Church, Liverpool. Entombment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery Mausoleum. Family and friends may call at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME on Friday from 4 to 7 pm. Contributions may be made to Community Hospice, 295 Valley View Blvd., Rensselaer, NY 12144 or the American Cancer Society.
