Rita A. Mannise's Obituary
Rita A. (Liberati) Mannise, 87, of Liverpool, passed away Sunday at St. Joseph's Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Syracuse and married her husband, Samuel Mannise. Upon moving to Liverpool, Rita and her husband Sam founded and operated Mann Building Corporation, building many housing subdivisions with quality homes that are still recognized today. In 1970 Rita and Sam founded Sport Mann Suzuki, Inc. in North Syracuse where she currently was president. Rita had a zest for life, traveling all over the world, making many trips including Italy, China and Japan. She loved cooking for her family and would have gatherings where she hosted everyone at her home. She was predeceased by her husband, Samuel Mannise in 1986. Rita is survived by her children, Carolyn F. Boring of N. Carolina, Joseph S. (Margo) Mannise of N. Syracuse, Janann Sprancmanis of Liverpool and Donald J. (Tammy) Mannise of Cicero; 13 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11:00 am in the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) N. Syracuse. Entombment will follow in Assumption Cemetery Mausoleum. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4 to 7 pm.
