Rita J. (Zingaro) D'Accurzio's Obituary
Rita J. (Zingaro) D’Accurzio, 97, of Syracuse, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 27, 2020 at Loretto Nursing Home surrounded by her loving family.
After raising her children, Rita enjoyed a career in customer service with Chase Bank. She loved playing cards and trips to the casino, but her greatest joy was cooking large Italian meals for her family. She was fun-loving and lively, and above all cherished time spent with her family and friends.
She is predeceased by her husband, Anthony, in 1994 and a sister, Rose Nicholson. Rita is survived by her son, David A. D’Accurzio (Connie); her daughter, Mary Cornelius (Michael Lagerman); 8 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
