It was my good fortune to know Bob as Sifu Moy 29 - recognized by the International Moy Yat Ving Tsun Federation as a Grandmaster of the system who produced many sifus in New York State.
I always remember him with great fondness as a larger-than-life personality with a quick mind, a thunderous laugh, and a generous heart. His life and influence continue after his passing. We will always remember him with great fondness.
I met Bob when I worked with Jerry Bruson in Ft. Lauderdale and buying /selling rare colored stones with each other in the early 80’s. He was a cool guy, great personality and a pleasure to do business with. If my memory is correct, I even bought a beautiful rich coffee cut triangle shape diamond from him for my personal collection. Sorry to hear of this sad news.

I first met Robert about eight years ago, when he asked me to do some work around his house. As he came to have trust in me, he introduced me to the world of stamp and coin collecting. His friendship meant a great deal to me. As his health slowly began to decline, we became very close friends, and I tried to do what I could to help him. I'm deeply saddened by his loss. He was truly one of a kind - a great friend - and I will always be inspired by his life. My sincere condolences to his family.
